Day 1 Tokyo
Arrive Tokyo, Met and transfer to
Keio Plaza Intercontinental Hotel for 3 nights stay.
Day 2 Tokyo
Full day highlights tour of Tokyo
takes us to Tokyo Tower Observatory for a panoramic view of the city and
tokyo Bay. Attend a traditional tea ceremony at Happoen-Garden, then visit
Imperial Palace Plaza, the exquisite outer garden of Empress Dowager’s
residence. Barbecue lunch at Chinzanso Garden Restaurant. After lunch drive
by National Diet building, ride on a
sightseeing Boat up the Sumida River.
Visit Asakusa Kannon temple & Nakamise Shooping Arcade before Return
to your hotel. Free at leisure in the evening. (L)
Day 3 Tokyo-Nikko-Tokyo
Full day excursion to Nikko by deluxe
coach. visit fabulous colorful Toshogu Shrine, lunch at Nikko Lakeside
Hotel.Visit Kegon Waterfall, drive by Lake Chuzenji, ragon’s head cascade,
Take Irohazaka zigzag driveway down the monuntains. back to Tokyo. Tour
disbands at Ginza. You have the option to explore the area by yourself
or back to hotel on our coach. (L)
Day 4 Tokyo/Kyoto
Morning transfer to to Tokyo Station
and board a “Bullet” train for classical city of Kyoto. Enjoy a spelindid
view of imposing Mr. Fuji en route(weather permitting). Lunch at New Miyako
Hotel. Afternoon tour to Nara, the first permanent capital of Japan. Visit
Todaiji Temple housing a great image of Buddha, colorful Kasuga Shrine
with 3000 lanterns, and Deer Park where many tame deer roam the grounds.
Return to Kyoto. Stay at Kyoto Hotel or similar for 2 nights.
Day 5 Kyoto
Morning sightseeing of the city,
visiting Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle noted for its gorgeous interiors,
and Kyoto Imperial Palace. Afternoon free at leisure.
Day 6 Kyoto
Transfer to the Kansai International
airport for onward journey.
